This course typically includes 5 nights lodging, up to 10 hours of flight time, up to 5 hours of ground instruction, the course syllabus, and the FAA Seaplane Flying Handbook. Clients check in on a Sunday and check out on a Friday. We are open for float flying June 1-September 20 each summer. We do have pilot accommodations and company vehicles. Clients love our “one-stop-shop” so that they can focus on training and not all the logistics of travel.
*You can take the course without a checkride, but if you want your Airplane Single Engine Sea Add-On Rating, a checkride is required. The cost is $850, paid to DPE.
